Will it hurt real bad to get my jaw realligned?
I had braces the invisible ones. Ask Rosie if she could see them in the photo I send her with one of my young sons. They aren’t noticeable at all. I actually had the reverse once, as my upper jaw was the problem (too small) I had 2 teeth removed to make *room* so my jaw could widen, but it was no biggy. I did have a metal plate, placed in the upper jaw, that HURT like a biitch. You were given a small *key* and every night you’d get someone to turn it. I cannot even tell you, how many times, I cried from that. I am 2 years on, and it was all worth it. I have the most beautiful smile, I never thought I’d have. I spend the majority of my life hiding my mouth when I spoke, now I am so proud of it. I didn’t have surgery, but when my braces and plate were fitted, I was swollen for about 10 days, I just drank midori and took panadol to ease the pain. Then every month when they would be re–adjusted, it hurt for a few days. Looking back though, I’d do it all over again. I am so grateful to be
