We already do. That’s where the earth is located. The only difference is when we leave the earth, we leave gravity behind. Gravity is very important to anything which lives on the land. Land animals have muscles designed to counteract the effects of gravity. It is the only way to move on the surface of dry land. Flight is another option, but humans can’t fly. Our bodies are so dependant on gravity that it changes rapidly if weightless for long periods of time. After just a week, the muscles have degenerated to such a point that standing upright is nearly impossible. On earth people experience a similar thing when getting out of bed in the morning. Stretching helps restore muscle tone. It is believed that permenant weightlessness would actually atrophy muscles completely. Most of the mass would be lost, giving a person very thin arms and legs. The muscles of the abdomen would also relax, allowing the belly to expand. The result would be a rather spider like look. People in this conditio
