Will Iolis work on a computer running Vista?
It is important to note that officially we cannot support Iolis running under Vista (you will find Vista is not mentioned in the literature) as we did not have a computer running Vista to test Iolis on prior to the last (2007/08) cd release and we still do not have a computer running Vista to try to resolve any issues that may crop up. We are aware of a handful of students that have installed the 2007/08 cd onto their Vista machines and they report error messages (unregistered files) trying to open Iolis, some are able to ignore the error and continue, others were not. It may also be the case that Iolis has to be run/opened via an Administrator account. But as stated above, we do not have a computer running Vista to confirm/test whether these issues crop up every time.
