Department of Homeland Security is currently suing citizens who own property in California, Arizona and Texas that boarders Mexico who have refused to allow DHS surveyors onto their land. Those property owners are also involved in a counter suit, suing the DHS for demanding to be given access to private land, for attempting to intimidate land owners and for threatening to take away their property rights if they do not comply. DHS wants 630 miles of fencing up by next year, and that won’t happen until this lawsuit gets cleared up OR the land owners willingly allow them access to their land. So far, the government has threatened to confiscate any and all land owned by private parties who refuse the DHS surveyors access to their property…. some of which has been owned by the same family since before the Revolution.
