Will IceTV support the next version of Vista Media Center called Fiji or TV-Pack?

0

Microsoft’s next version of Vista Media Center, Windows Media Center TV Pack (code-named “FiJi”) introduces some significant changes to the way Vista Media Center interfaces with its electronic program guide (EPG). This means we will have to update our IceTV Interactive Windows application for it to function correctly with Fiji. Despite our best efforts to contact Microsoft both locally and overseas we have not been able to secure access to the Fiji beta group and have received very little information regarding the update as Australia’s only independent commercial EPG provider. At this stage it looks unlikely that Microsoft will release the necessary information or documentation for third party EPG providers like IceTV to update their software. However, this is a very high priority for us and if we are given the appropriate information needed, then we will work very hard to release an update as soon as we can. Note: IceTV recommends all Windows Vista users should not upgrade to Windows
