Will i qualify for Maternity Allowance or SMP?
You will be entitled to SMP if you become pregnant AFTER starting the job. You MUST inform any employer if you are currently pregnant whilst attending interviews as a prospective employer is legally entitled to refuse you the job and this is NOT discrimination. He needs a job doing and is under no legal obligation to give it to someone who may take a year off as soon as they start work.
