Will I have a problem with mercury retrograde in aquarius?
I think too much is made of Mercury retrograde, for various reasons. (For example, all of the planets except the Sun and Moon go retrograde at some point and then direct again, over time.) That said, I also think Mercury retrograde can affect some people more than others. It doesn’t bother me a lot since Mercury is retrograde in my natal chart. My Mercury is also combust, so I think my Mercury is weak in my chart which may actually be beneficial when transiting Mercury goes retrograde. You are absolutely correct, you have a reasonably strong Mercury influence in your chart. Mercury is exalted in Aquarius and one of your stronger planets is Mercury due to the Virgo ascendant. Retrograde means that instead of a kind of normal functioning for a planet in a chart, it tends to act in one extreme or the other when it is retrograde.
