Will i get counted off for taking a drivers test barefoot?
That depends on the instructor. It is totally legal to drive barefoot, and in fact it is much safer than wearing shoes, but very few people actually think about it, and as a result have enormous anti-feet prejudices. I wore shoes to my driving test, even though I am a full time 24/7/365 barefooter. I haven’t worn shoes since last july, and I haven’t worn closed shoes since last winter. I made an exception for my drivers test though, because some inspectors base everything on personal bias. I had one instructor twice, and both times she failed me before we started because I had a beard. So just deal with the shoes that one time. When I say people don’t actually think about it, some of the other answers here are perfect examples.
