Yes, just like any other Internet connection, a HughesNet satellite broadband account can allow multiple users to connect via networking equipment. HughesNet does not provide any of the equipment required to create a network, nor will they be able to set up the network in a customer’s home. For any network setup, configuration or troubleshooting, customers should contact their hardware manufacturer or operating software developer. (HUGHES is not responsible for home network configuration or management). It is also important to note that all computers on any given network will be sharing access to the single connection. Any simultaneous use of high-bandwidth applications by multiple users on a single account may actually result in degradation of speed, and will also be subject to the HughesNet Fair Access Policy. Additionally, under such conditions, uninterrupted service and stated speeds not guaranteed.
