Will I be able to check eligibility using the previous 10-digit MassHealth member number?

No, the 10th digit (check digit) is not used to check eligibility. Providers may enter either the nine-digit SSN, or other agency ID assigned by DSS or DYS, or the first name, last name, date of birth, and gender of the member. However the eligibility response will display the member’s new 12-digit member ID.
