Will I be able to be involved or partake in other campus programs, such as athletics, social clubs, Greek life, or work off-campus while I am an undergraduate Greehey Scholar?
The Greehey Scholars Program offers numerous opportunities for undergraduate students. These various opportunities will occur regularly and students are required to participate in these activities to fulfill their program requirements. However, campus life at St. Mary’s University includes several student activities and opportunities that Greehey Scholars will be encouraged to participate in as scheduling permits. Additionally, undergraduate students accepted into the Scholars Program will be expected to complete 12-15 hours per week of community service and service learning activities. The Greehey Scholars Program does provide full coverage of an undergraduate student’s total directly billed charges to the university which can ease the financial burden for students; thus, allowing sufficient time to complete all program requirements.
