No. HotWires are manufactured using spiral-core technology, which prevents substantial amounts of EMI. Only low quality aftermarket stereos, or badly installed stereos (wiring) could be a problem. However, there are thousands upon thousands of satisfied users without any EMI problems whatsoever.
