HotShot is a microprocessor-based, fully self-contained heating device that runs off electricity generated by the vehicle’s electrical system. HotShot’s software will disable the device if the vehicle’s battery power drops below certain predetermined voltages that correspond with the symptoms of a drained or defective battery, a weak or non-functional alternator, or other electrical system problems. HotShot is compatible with 12 V electrical systems and will be compatible with other systems in the future.
