Will horses health be affected from eating eucalyptus?
The short answer is yes, if they eat enough. Eucalyptus leaves are poisonous in large quantities. But some ponies living next door to me would nibble the leaves of my bottlebrush and gum tree all the time, and didnt suffer any ill effects that I could see. Koalas can eat them because they evolved to, and have the necessary enzymes to digest the leaves.
