Will hitting an avocado tree with a baseball bat help it produce fruit?
Okay, a friend of mine DID get ticked at his tree never producing fruit and wanted to kill it. He went outside with his kid’s baseball bat and just went at it. He went all the way around the trunk and thought…so there, now you’ll die. It didn’t but it did start producing. His neighbors and friends that had non-producing trees noticed his tree producing and inquired what he had done (fertilized…etc.). He told them what happened and each tried it, and it began producing. My parents have a non-producing tree and were going to cut it down… we are going to try the baseball bat trick before it gets its walking papers.
