Comedy Central will re-air “Jon Reep: Metro Jethro” at 6 p.m. The comedian let his fans know about the encore showing in an e-mail newsletter. “It’s a sweet batch of sophisticated small town funny with a little bit of big city smarts,” he wrote. “I lay down the rules for nudity in locker rooms, contemplate big city vs. small time life and, of course, share more heartwarming stories about my loveable father David Reep.” David Reep is a deputy with the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office. Jon Reep, a “Last Comic Standing” winner who grew up in Hickory, often uses his hometown in his act.
