Will heaven be like Earth? Just with good people and peace?
While I do not believe in heaven, I do have 21 years as a believer behind me, and 3.5 years as a pastor in the church. The book of Revelations does not claim that believers go to heaven when they die. It claims that you sleep until the return of Christ to Earth. Then it states that God will destroy the heavens and the Earth (heavens is the word used in those times for outer-space). Then it states that God will create a new heaven and a new Earth. It goes on to sat that a new Jerusalem will descend from the heavens (measuring 1400 miles cubed). That is where the Bible claims believers will spend eternity in God’s presence.
