While the pleasing duet of Glen Hansard und Marketa Irglova, “Falling Slowly” from the movie “Once” may bring a bit more attention to buskers in Dublin’s Grafton Street, the realistic depiction of Ireland’s capital in the movie will not really draw the crowds. Then again the dreary “Angela’s Ashes” brought the moviegoing fraternity to Limerick in search of the movie locations. So there might be hope for Dublin still.
