But no, Gypsy Rose Lee won’t make a successful comeback in 2009 as she is dead. Ms. Lee passed away April 26, 1970, at age 59, of cancer. That’s interesting to know as I would have assumed she died a LONG time ago, and it surprises me that she lived until the 1970’s. I always thought that she was much older and lived a lot longer ago!
