Will Graeter’s be changing there age-old family recipe and French Pot method for making ice cream?
Graeter’s patrons will start to notice something different at their neighborhood stores. The color of mint chocolate chip ice cream, one of Graeter’s most popular signature flavors, has been changed from green to white. Mint chocolate chip is still made the old-fashioned way using Graeter’s age-old family recipe and French Pot method. The only change is the green food coloring has been removed, making the ice cream 100 percent all natural. “We continuously look for ways to provide all natural choices to our customers. In fact, most of Graeter’s ice cream is all natural, so the change in our Mint Chocolate Chip flavor is a step in that direction,” said Chip Graeter, vice president of Graeter’s Retail Operations.
