Will Garrard’s Numbers Be Better In 2010?

0

Garrard actually has a statistically better season last season than in 2008. The passing woes and all of the blame fell on Garrard’s shoulders as head coach Jack Del Rio questioned the ability of the 9 year veteran. Garrard was asked and probably a little unfairly asked to make chicken salad out of chicken crap. Everyone new that Sims-Walker was getting the ball deep, and Torry Holt might as well been replaced by a tackling dummy at that point since they are both about the same speed. Marcedes Lewis is closer to a 6th offensive line man than a Tight end and of course the other youngster receivers hadn’t developed and it was a recipe for disaster that no decent QB could have thrived in. The team looks much improved over last year offensively and defensively. Like mentioned above if Thomas or one of the other receivers can take pressure of Sims-Walker, Garrard will be better in 2010.
