Will flying with a broken tooth hurt?
When you fly there is pressure in the cabin but only during your departure and decent. With a cracked tooth any change in pressure may cause you pain. The space in between your cracked tooth is full of air. Any change in pressure on a plane will alter the air pressure in your tooth. Once a tooth is cracked and depending on how deep the crack is, it needs to be treated by a dentist right away. If the crack is deep you may be open to infection. If it goes into the pulp of your tooth you will need a root canal. You don’t want to be flying if these complications develop. Please, please do not fly, and get that tooth looked at ASAP. Best Of luck!
