Will fall of U.S. mimic fall of Roman Empire?
There are similarities between America (the United States) and the Roman Empire. The Romans inherited some of their ability from the Greeks and the conquered countries. They were very sophisticated –– having a Senate. When they fell, what followed was not pretty. For more than 1,000 years, we had the Dark Ages. I surmise that if we fail as a country, we may face another 1,000 years of darkness. We as a people are not united, we are split on so many fronts.
