Will facebook overtake google as the most visited site on earth?
There is no way, Google is easily seventy or eighty times larger in both physical size of sever farms and amount of visits (also considering it is older). Their data-gathering sever farm”s”/data centers, are the size of small towns, literally eight times the size of a walmart super-centers, and there are dozens of them. Sergey Brin of Google has a quote explaining how Google is closest to replicating the mind of god. The Google engine knows more about humanity then anyone combined on earth. To Google is now even considered an official dictionary verb. It doesn’t even matter, if you look up Facebook on Google search like most people, Google takes all the information from your facebook visit in its data-gathering servers. Google takes in on average a petabyte an hour, thats over a thousand terabytes, and over a million gigabytes. This number though always rises. Also a fun fact is that a petabyte is five hundred times the amount of information in human brain.
