Will English become an official language in Brussel?

Although Brussels is the unofficial capital of Europe, I don’t think Belgium as a country is ready for a fourth official language. The official languages of the European Institutions are English, French and German (and not just English as suggested above). It really depends on the department people are working for which language they speak but I’d say French is still predominant in many departments. However, people working at the Insitutions are kind of forced (it’s one of the criteria to get a promotion) to learn two foreign languages. Dutch isn’t one of the official languages in the Institutions but it is widely spoken in Belgium. However, still many French-speaking Belgians don’t have a clue when it comes to Dutch and prefer to learn English instead of Dutch (I guess I can’t really blame them but why not learning Dutch and English and maybe a bit of German too since it’s the third official language in the country?). I don’t think it’s going to happen but personally, I wouldn’t mind
