Will employers recognise me for having a BTEC, and other qualifications listed?
All of those qualifications are good and recognised. BTEC courses are actually quite well regarded by many employers. They’re very vocational and prepare students much better for employment than A Levels do. However, A Levels prepare students better for higher education and university, which is usually the aim of an A Level student. My suggestion to you is go ahead and study your BTEC. However, you really need to get your GCSE English and Mathematics at C grades or above. You should be able to do both at your college. Your OCR Level 2 certificate is worth GCSEs, but not GCSE English and Mathematics. Most employers will be expecting you to have them, so it’s best to get them. It’ll also enable you to consider university if you want to. I hope this helps and good luck!
