Will emerging presbyopes be affected by so much near power (up to +3.00D)?
An emerging presbyope still has good accommodation, but needs a little help in reading. The progressive nature of the Focus Progressives lens allows the patient to “select” the amount of add that is right for them. As the patient loses the accommodative ability, they will use more of the higher lens power. This system avoids the emerging presbyope from being over-corrected at near.
