Earlier versions of InDesign Server were not included in our testing efforts. While older versions may install and run on Windows Server 2008 R2, they were designed, tested, and released to the public several years before this new operating system became available and have not been tested. Older versions of InDesign Server will not be updated to support the shipping Windows Server 2008 R2.
