Will doing 1000 push ups a day get me defined in a 6 month period?
I had the similar situation when I first moved. Pushups everyday will help but the more you do, the easier it will get, so the results wont be that great. If you do multiple sets of different kinds of pushups, you get the benefits of doing different exercises at the gym. Try normal pushups, then putting your legs up on the bed for incline pushups, then do clapping pushups which incorporate a bit of ‘plyometrics’ by forcing you to push your own body weight off the ground. I do a few sets of these a day and Im always feeling pretty good afterwards.
