It is up to this device’s drivers to make the PCMCIA COM port card look and act exactly like a regular PC COM port. If it does a sufficient job, then DirectSOFT would not be able to distinguish it from a regular PC COM port. But since we have improved DirectSOFT’s CommServer it is best to use the very latest version of DirectSOFT as possible.
