Will deployments from separate agencies with broad salary bands that cross over numerous salary bands in the core public administration be fair?
A7. The deploying manager will remain responsible for taking the staffing values, including fairness, into consideration before proceeding with the deployment. Managers will also be encouraged to ensure that the potential employee has had a reasonable opportunity to seek expert information regarding the impact of the potential deployment on his/her employment status and terms and conditions of employment, including salary, leave and pension. Application of the staffing values will be monitored at both the organizational and central agency level.
