Will Darkwing ever get married?
Well, personally, I doubt it. Even though he’s mostly successful as a parent, I don’t think Drake’s personality and style would lend itself much to a marriage. Because let’s face it, he’s an egomaniac. Gosalyn is probably one of the only people he can really connect to, and even they have a stormy relationship. Darkwing’s relationship with his sometimes-girlfriend, Morgana McCawber, is… Well, “stormy” is an understatement. However, I don’t think Drake feels any NEED to get married, so it’s probably not a real concern for anyone on the show. Q: I once heard it said that Darkwing was basically Disney’s version of Daffy Duck. A: Bite your tongue! No one who WATCHED that show would say that. All of Drake’s resemblances to Daffy are superficial. Sure, he’s got an ego and a temper. Sure, he’s a glory hog. Sure, he’s pretty funny and even gets anvils dropped on him from time to time.
