Will creating data CDs from the hard drive help avoid Buffer Underrun Errors in Toast on a Mac?
Creating data CDs from slower input devices, such as Zip drives, Jaz drives, older CD-ROMS, or over a network, will often result in Buffer Underrun errors on the Macintosh. To help insure a more efficient writing session and to avoid the Buffer Underrun errors, it is recommended that the files first be copied to the Macintosh Hard Drive before writing the CD. NOTE: There must be as much available Hard Drive space as the original content required.
