Will cities be able to recoup reductions to LGA and MVHC reimbursement made through the now ratified unallotments? What about reductions made as part of the supplemental budget passed in April?
Cities have authority for special levies to recover losses to 2010 LGA, 2010 MVHC reimbursement, and 2011 MVHC reimbursement. That includes cuts made by Gov. Pawlenty in his unallotment plan, which were later ratified by the 2010 Legislature, and the cuts made by the Legislature in its supplemental budget passed in April.
