That is like purchasing nice seat covers or something pleasing to the eye for a car that you are selling; it might be a bonus to the buyer and make the over all package better, however the car must still run well. Does that make since to you? When purchasing a home having the home welcoming is a very big thing, however the other things such as good foundation, the number of bedrooms the people want, good roof etc is way more important. If the home is well maintained and very beautiful as well you will have a better chance of selling it of course, however I would not say that it is a major importantance for resale. Some people do not like shutters at all. Most people as a matter of fact will change the blinds, window coverings, carpet etc when they move into a home to suit thier decorating style and look more for the quality of the home, how it was built, when it was built, etc. At least a smart home buyer will.
