Will Buzzys have any activities for Children and Teenagers?
Buzz realizes that our children are the future in eliminating the need to euthanize healthy animals. Through education and the involvement of our youth in the care and treatment of companion animals, we can all make a difference in our community. Buzzy’s will have writing and photography competitions on animal related subjects for children and teenagers. Buzzy’s will also be working with young people to raise funds for the acquisition of K-9, search & rescue and bomb sniffing dogs by governmental agencies, and also therapy assistance dogs to help both children and adults. Our staff works with individuals of all ages to encourage them to become familiar with adoption and foster services. Buzzy’s feature organizations such as “Pals for Life,” made up of volunteers who take their companion animals to hospitals, special needs schools and nursing homes to brighten someone’s spirits with these visits.
