Though Superman: Man Of Steel is slated for a 2009 release, there has been no official confirmation from Warner Brothers that Routh will be playing Superman. Routh’s Internet Movie Database page contains information for at least one film he will be in in 2009 but that film is not Superman: Man of Steel. The Superman: MoS page on IMDB has no cast listing whatsoever. The internet is, hoewever, buzzing with rumors both that he will and won’t be back. As of June 2008 the best that can be said for certain is “maybe”.
