Will Bohrs model of the atom become a mythology or folk law in the future?
It can certainly be argued that this question does not belong in R&S but to my mind that would be mostly because of the details you’re adding to the question – you’re making it more of a philosophy question rather than an actual question about religion or spirituality. But there’s no need to nitpick about that; I think it’s a great question. You’re certainly right that the Bohr model of the atom is inaccurate and that models based on quantum theory are much more accurate. It would also be very hard to imagine that Bohr was not aware of the similarities to the model of the solar system when he proposed this model of the atom; in fact, his model was based on earlier models that were even closer to the solar system model and he introduced certain rules to his model (like specific allowable energy levels for electrons) that kept the model simple while taking some of the quantum physics theory into account. Although the Bohr model is not as accurate as the valence shell model of quantum phy
