i had slow labour with 1 of my babies, so the midwives had me sit, rock on a ball for hours to help babies head come down further, the further down they come the more pressure on cervix the more pressure on cervix the closer labour will be it seemed to help it also helped ease my backache dont buy a birthing ball i got a normal gym ball which was a lot cheaper but exactly the same as a birthing ball i would get 1 because u can use it now to help get comfortable and its great when in labour
