We do not propose to apply bibliometric indicators in a formulaic way in these disciplines, but are open to their use as indicators to inform peer review in disciplines where it is appropriate to do so. Beyond the 2013 light-touch peer review process, we will continue to explore the potential for wider use of bibliometrics.
