Unlikely. I’ve had Bettas that will ignore food as soon as it starts to sink. Those weekend blocks are a waste of money and are more likely to rot, cause an ammonia spike and kill your fish. A Betta can go 4-5 days without food, these blocks are unnecessary. As long as the Betta is in a proper heated filtered stable tank it will be fine.
