Will Avatar’s Badass Jarhead Quaritch Also Play Conan’s Bad Guy?

Since LR has been well ahead of all the “Conan” casting news, I wouldn’t bet against them being right. If Lang signs on, he’ll be playing Khalar Singh, one of those uber bad guys determined to enslave the world and ensure that disco comes back into fashion and other bad guy stuff. Khalar Singh is also the guy who killed Conan’s dad when Conan was a tyke, which, naturally, makes Conan pretty gosh darn mad. Marcus Nispel will direct the reboot, which will star “Stargate: Atlantis’” Jason Momoa as the Cimmerian barbarian determined to kill your man so he can hear the lamentations of your woman. Previous cast announcements include Mickey Rourke as Conan’s dear ol pop.
