Will aspergers syndrome stop me from joining the army?
It probably will stop you joining. In the army you would need to be able to make tricky decisions under great pressure and in unfamiliar circumstances. I wonder why they deferred your application, it’s not like your Aspergers is going to go away. My nephew with Aspergers is having similar problems finding a paid job, but he hopes to find something in an office where the tasks are clearly organised and he knows the routine and the people.
