Will appeasing the Chinese Communist government result in world peace?
First of all, I’m not an opponent of the death penalty by any means-every paedo and murderer should die in the most painful way possible. However, unfortunately China uses torture and executions as a way of dealing with dissidents and other people whom the regime considers “troublesome”.I’m not sure whether the Olympic ideals are respectful of “freedom” etc in fact I would be inclined to state that the long and sordid history of some of the people behind the Olympics has tarnished what is, for many people, an exciting and awesome event. One example was the IOC and former Fascist Government minister Juan Antonio Samaranch (now honourary President for life of the IOC, Viva el presidente!!!).Anyway, to answer your question will appeasing China result in world peace???Probably not, Chairman Mao (when he spent most of his time watching his troops getting slaughtered in battles whilst he was shacked up with prostitues etc) believed that power came from the barrel of a gun, and I don’t think
