Will any recommendations be made to reduce operating expenses through better coordination with the court system (e.g. night court)?
The County is open to working with the judiciary, the Prosecutors office, and the Sheriffs office to explore all cost-saving measures, and will bring options for consideration before the Criminal Justice Collaborative Council (CJCC). Historically, options such as night court have met with staffing and operational challenges that undermine potential cost savings.
