Will an Xbox 360 controller work on windows 7?
Yes. All 360 controllers will work on your PC. You just need the wireless gaming receiver for wireless ones. the Play and Charge kit will not work to transfer the wireless signal. It will only charge the controller so the receiver is a must if your controller is wireless. You also need the drivers for it. Windows 7 should automatically recognize it and download them, but if it doesn’t you can go here http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/downlo… and download them manually. If the game is not a Games for Windows game, you’ll need to download a controller mapping program like Pinnacle.
