Will Alternative 6B make traffic flow WORSE in the general purpose (GP) lanes for the next 30 years?
No. All of the alternatives under consideration are designed to improve traffic flow in GP lanes. Each alternative achieves this in different ways. The NEPA process helps GDOT and GRTA to identify the best solution at the best possible cost which adversely effects the social and physical environment the least. Because of financial constraints, will Alternatives 6A and 6B result in prioritizing toll lanes and indefinitely postponing safety and operational improvements?
