Will Adderall treat sinuses?
Adderall can be used for sinuses however there are much more rational choices for resolving sinus pain. Adderall is a very strong drug used for ADHD. This medication is not recommended for those who are not suffering from ADHD. Adderall is a psychostimulant medication that gives absolute adverse reactions to those who are not suffering from this particular behavioral and attention disorder. Because it stimulates a portion of the brain of someone who has ADHD, it would also stimulate the part of the brain that would cause a person with ‘normal’ attention to become over-stimulated. This is definitely not a good thing. The part of the brain that is affected is the “pleasure center” of the brain. A boost of dopamine from the Adderall would give the average individual an over stimulation of this part of the brain. One who has sinus problems is better off with using Sudafed or Claritin instead of going for a medication that’s primary intention is not to resolve sinus pressure.
