Will a wine bottle melt in a bonfire?
Yes most bonfires would be hot enough (at the center or better yet, in the embers) to melt glass. It will most likely not become a liquid like you might think, but its viscosity will change. I have melted smaller glass bottle before. It will become much softer and you can deform it. Remember that glass is actually super-cooled liquid, not really a solid.
