Will a Trooper 2.8 MUA5 fit an Amigo 2.6 MUA5 bellhousing?
There is no separate bellhousing per se, the front housing of the transmission is cast one piece with the bell. That said, the two motors have different bolt patterns where they bolt to the bell, so no, it will not bolt straight up. There is a good possibility that the front castings could be swapped for each other, and then this would work, but it would take a daring soul to do it, and would be speculation.
